Triangle Elementary School was originally constructed in 1972. A new K-1 building was added in 2001. During the 2004-2005 school year, the main building underwent extensive renovations with occupancy occurring in January 2005. Triangle Elementary qualifies as a Title I school with an 89% free/reduced lunch rate. Breakfast is free to all students and served in the cafeteria each morning. Total student enrollment is approximately 750 students. The school is located between Eustis and Mount Dora and is in a rapidly growing, highly mobile, suburban area of northeast Lake County.
The majority of Triangle Elementary students feed into Mount Dora Middle School for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Others attend Eustis Middle School, Tavares Middle School, Mount Dora Christian Academy, and Liberty Christian Academy.
