Mrs. Debbie Hartog
Greetings Triangle Manatee Families and Friends!
Welcome to our school! I am so proud to take the helm and lead Triangle Elementary this school year! This will be my seventh year as a Triangle Manatee, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to engage in the educational process together with our highly
qualified and dedicated staff, our wonderful students, and supportive parents for another year in my new role. I am a lifelong educator who brings a strong commitment to students and families as well as a love of learning and problem solving.
It takes a village! Research shows that parental involvement in a child’s education has a great benefit on the child. The benefits are higher academic achievement, better
attendance, and a positive influence on behavior and attitudes. The elementary years are critical times of development for students, so I urge you to take part as much as possible in our school activities. We have many activities focused on our families to learn more about your child’s educational opportunities, as well as, fun and exciting nights such as STEAM, Science and Literacy Fairs, and the Festival of the Arts! We
also would like to invite you to participate in our School Advisory Council (SAC) and the Association of Parents and Teachers (APT). I look forward to working with all of you to ensure the success of your student.
These are challenging times, so it is more important than ever that we work together! At
Triangle, our motto is “One Team, One Dream”, and you are part of that team. Please
know that my door is always open and I am available to meet with you in person or talk
to you over the telephone to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. As an
instructional leader of Triangle, I strive to ensure that your child has the opportunity to
learn, achieve, and succeed! I look forward to a great year and to meeting all our new
children and their families.
Together in Education,
Debbie Hartog
