Today's Choice for Tomorrow's Future

Ms. Marlene Straughan

Triangle Elementary Parents,

I am thrilled to be returning for another year as your principal at Triangle Elementary School! For the third year in a row, we were named a “B” school by the Florida Department of Education.  We will continue to work hard and be dedicated to improve and achieve.  Our ultimate goal is to become an ‘A’ school, and with your help, we know we will achieve it!

The school may look a little different next time you visit.  We have created an official school logo and our new school colors are blue and green! We have new school shirts for sale in the main office and can’t wait to see them worn on Friday’s for spirit day.  Our theme this year is One Team, One Mission and you will see that motto throughout our school.  We firmly believe in the concept of teamwork and look forward to a fun-filled year where all Manatees will ‘Believe, Achieve, and Succeed!”

As you already know, I have an open door policy and hope you will contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  We are always looking for volunteers and mentors, so please let us know if you’d like to assist.  I’d also love to see parents join our APT (Association of Parents and Teachers) and SAC (School Advisory Council).

Thank you again for your commitment to Triangle Elementary School.  We have an amazing faculty and staff, and over 750 students eager to start the 2019-2020 school year.  We look forward to you visiting our campus and thank you for being a part of our Manatee family.  We are ONE TEAM!

With Manatee Pride,
Marlene L. Straughan
